A Beginner’s guide to taking off contact lenses.
Step 1: After your hands have been washed with soap and water, and dried with a lint free towel, look upwards and pull down your lower eyelid with your middle finger.
Step 2: Use your index finger to touch the lower edge of the lens and slide it down to the lower white part.
Step 3: Gently squeeze the lens between your thumb and index finger to remove it. Repeat for the other lens.
Step 4: Dailies can be discarded straightaway, but make sure to clean and disinfect reusable contact lenses as directed by your eye care professional.
It’s easier than you think, and practice makes perfect!
